Heartland Helicopters is based in Weipa, on Cape York Peninsula, and provide a range of specialist commercial and recreational helicopter services, to visitors, property owners, commercial and government clients. Owned and operated by local Bevan Duke, Heartland Helicopters has a fleet of 3 machines ready to fly. Besides Bevan, we have a team of pilots qualified in all areas of helicopter operations with a wealth of knowledge and hours between them. We’re CASA approved for airwork like feral animal control, incendiary burning and more. We’re also passionate about Weipa and the Cape, and love nothing more than taking guests to see remote areas of wilderness and showcasing the Cape’s natural and untouched beauty.
In an area as wild and remote as Cape York, helicopters are one of the few modes of transport to get you in, out and around the region. Heartland Helicopters operate for 363 days of the year and are available for most requests. We’re committed to safety and compliance and can’t wait to fly with and for you.
